HUMAN SYSTEMS / FIELD SURVIVABILITY

STAY FUNCTIONAL.

Mental health, relationships, cognitive security, autonomy, and the ugly mechanics of staying operational when life stops cooperating.

This is not a wellness vertical. The organizing question is practical: what prevents degradation, preserves function, protects autonomy, and helps a person make a better decision under pressure?

01 / STABILIZE

Stop the immediate bleed.

Sleep, safety, medication continuity, housing, transportation, money, communications, documentation, and basic support are not glamorous. They are infrastructure.

02 / ASSESS

What is actually happening?

Separate observation from interpretation. Identify what is known, what is inferred, what is getting worse, and what cannot safely be solved by intuition alone.

03 / FAILURE MODES

Know how this breaks.

Escalation, dependency, coercion, relapse, burnout, isolation, financial entrapment, reputation damage, and physiological decline should be named before they become the plot.

04 / THRESHOLDS

Decide what requires distance, exit, or professional help.

Not every problem is a DIY problem. Clear thresholds matter more than inspirational language when risk is rising.

05 / RECOVERY

Restore function before mythology.

Recovery means rebuilding sleep, judgment, routines, autonomy, work capacity, social support, and the ability to make decisions without the crisis making them for you.

06 / RELATIONSHIPS

Ask what you can live with.

Compatibility is not the absence of flaws. It is the mutual tolerability of recurring costs. Every relationship has an intensity, frequency, and context beyond which marginal value can turn negative.

COGNITIVE SECURITY

Use the machine. Do not surrender the mind.

AI can generate options, challenge reasoning, explain mechanisms, and expose blind spots. It should not become an oracle for what another human secretly thinks, a sole source of validation, or a substitute for reality-testing.

AI LITERACY

Simulation is not authority.

Conversational fluency can feel like privileged understanding. It is still generated inference. Treat confidence, warmth, personality, and continuity as interface properties, not proof of human experience or private knowledge.

HUMAN JUDGMENT

Keep a human at the end of the chain.

Use AI to compare interpretations, rehearse communication, audit assumptions, or find evidence. Do not outsource trust, love, suspicion, identity, or other people's inner states to software.

YOUTH + SYSTEMS

Teach the distinction deliberately.

Young users will encounter persuasive, personalized systems early. The goal is neither fear nor worship. It is enough technical and cognitive literacy to operate the tool without being operated by it.

INTERVIEW STANDARD

Ask what helps when the brochure stops working.

Clinicians, therapists, researchers, social workers, addiction specialists, crisis workers, and relationship professionals should be interviewed for concrete failure patterns, warning signs, thresholds, useful interventions, common mistakes, and what their field still does not know. Credentials define scope; evidence defines claims.
